The Major Secret Why My Website is Number 1 on Google in the World By Matthew Robert Payne

October 3rd, 2009

You might have to do hundreds of hours worth of reading to find the solution to getting your website to the number 1 position on Google under your keywords. Many people that give search engine optimization (SEO) tips are not in the business of really educating you, rather they want you frustrated enough with your lack off success so that you would use their services. I am not in the SEO business and I doubt that your company would compete against me in my keywords so it is easy for me to give you this secret to getting number 1 position on Google.

Anyone with a little money can build a really nice looking website. I am a person that has a very low income so apart from my blog my websites are not pretty. However having little money did not prevent me from getting the top position on Google under my keywords “personal prophecy.”

Google is unlike many search engines in that the major contributing factor to a high ranking on Google is that your website has to have a lot of inbound links coming from quality websites. It took over 250 inbound links for my website to become number 1 in the world on Google.

Now, if you are like me, not many people from other websites might want to link to you. This is a dilemma, however since Ezine Articles was created it is no longer a problem. You see Google will count every single article that you write at Ezine Articles as a proper link. At the bottom of every article on Ezine Articles is a resource box where you can run a link to your website with the keyword that you want making up the link.

So instead of having to have 250 other companies running links to your website, all you need to do is find the time to write 250 quality articles. This is an investment in time, sure, however you not have 250 advertisements for your company getting indexed on Google all with a link to your website. Now you have the chance to prove to people why they need to choose your company be educating them in the sort of things that you know.

You can have any person in your company write the articles, you can have 20 authors or a 100 authors and all of them link to your company. If you split the work up there is more chance one of your peoples writing styles will resonate with a customer and they will click through to your site.

So go to it and good luck.

If you enjoyed this article, well you might want to see a blog I have written that will have up to 500 of my articles on it. It’s a blog with a difference; you can browse many great products for sale on there, as you read more of my articles. You can skip over there and read one of my most popular articles, called, True love…Why is that stunning girl dating that Ugly Guy? by simply clicking here on this link

3 Best Ways to Get a Number One Search Rank on Google By Roland Frasier

October 3rd, 2009

Okay… I’ve been playing around with how to get a number one rank on Google and I’ve had some pretty good luck using the following strategies. So, I’m writing this article to reveal my 3 Best Ways How To Get a Number One Rank On Google.

It all depends on your keywords, competition for them and whatever else is already out there about you or your company, but here’s what I find is working best right now…

Number 1 Way To Get a Number 1 Rank On Google

The best way I’ve found to get top rank so far is using a WordPress hosted blog site. If you set one of these free sites up and write good articles rich in the keywords you want Google to find you for, then you have a really good shot at getting a number 1 rank on Google within a few hours.

Number 2 Way To Get a Number One Rank On Google

The second best way I’ve found to get a number one rank on Google is by creating a website on Hubpages.com. They have free websites you can create, even if you don’t know anything about html or programming, and your site can include video, audio, and all sorts of other good stuff. Again, the key is to provide content rich in the keywords you want Google to give you a number one ranking for.

Number 3 Way to Get a Number 1 Rank On Google

Video is the new king, and it takes a little more work to create, so Google seems to like the video sharing sites that are out there. Interestingly enough, Google’s own, YouTube, is not nearly as good as some of the others like Viddler in generating top ranks.

These are the top 3 best ways how to get a number one rank on Google as of the time of this writing. That’s bound to change, but I have to say that this has been working for me for my terms for a while now.

Website Design Tips Guaranteed to Improve Your Site By Darlene Bishop

October 2nd, 2009

If you’re doing business online, your website is your store front, your virtual business location. As such, it’s critical that you use good website design principles to ensure your site reaches the maximum number of customers and prospects. Believe it or not, there are design strategies that are virtually guaranteed to improve your site’s results.

First, be sure you use clean and understandable navigation on your site. Your navigation menu should contain only what’s needed to direct your visitors around the site without confusion.

Next, you’ll want to consider the load speed of your site. Too many graphics and photos make your site load extremely slow. Use only graphics that are truly an essential part of the design. And optimize the ones you do use with an image editing program such as PhotoShop, or even an online optimizer like the one at DynamicDrive.com. The smaller your image files, the better.

Write short paragraphs and include lots of white space to make reading online easier. If paragraph are too long, break them into shorter ones so text blocks don’t look overwhelming. Large blocks of text deter people from reading the content and the content is what sells your products and services. Do all you can to get visitors to read it.

Follow compliance standards of W3.org to ensure your site is cross-browser compatible. While your site may look great in Internet Explorer, if it’s unreadable in Firefox, Chrome or Opera, you can lose a lot of visitors. Keep in mind version differences as well. Many Internet users are still surfing with older versions of IE, so be sure you consider what your site looks like to them as well.

Don’t get carried away with the number of scripts on your site, either. Too many scripts slow down the load time just like too many images. And some can even crash some browsers! Many scripts aren’t supported on all browsers, so if you rely on a script to provide important data, some of your site visitors could miss important information if the script doesn’t work properly.

Make use of tools such as stylesheets (CSS) and server side includes (SSI) to manage your content. It may not seem important when you first begin because you only have a few pages. But as your site grows CSS and SSI can save you hours of work. If you don’t know how to use them, learn. Or hire a designer who does.

Unless the purpose of your website is purely personal, you need to present a clean, professional image to the virtual world. That’s done with a clean, professional website. It requires some work, but it’s definitely achievable. And well the effort in bringing in added traffic and sales to your business site.
